Hair Treatments
▲ Non-Surgical Therapies:
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma): Injection of the patient's own plasma into the scalp to stimulate hair follicles
Low Level Laser: Stimulates circulation and cellular metabolism in the follicles
Hair Mesotherapy: Microinjections of vitamins, minerals and medications directly into the scalp
LED Therapy: Red light that stimulates hair growth
▲ Topical and Oral Medications:
Minoxidil: Applied directly to the scalp to stimulate growth
Finasteride: Oral medication that reduces the conversion of testosterone to DHT
Nutraceuticals: Specific supplements with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants for hair health
▲ Hair Implant (Transplant):
How it is done:
Procedure performed under local anesthesia
Extraction of follicular units:
FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation): A strip of scalp is removed from the donor area (usually the back of the head) of the head) and dissected into individual follicular units
FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction): Follicular units are extracted individually using micropunches, without the need for linear incisions
Preparation of follicular units under a microscope
Creation of microincisions in the recipient area (bald or thinning area)
Careful implantation of each follicular unit into the incisions
The procedure can last from 4 to 8 hours, depending on the number of follicles
Initial recovery lasts about 7-10 days, with visible results after 6-12 months
More than one session may be necessary for ideal density
▲ Advantages of the Brazilian technique:
Special attention to the natural angulation of the hairs for a more harmonious result
Strategic density for a natural appearance
Preservation of donor areas for future procedures if necessary
